By popular demand we have put together another fantastically festive braid tutorial! This time it’s the ANGEL braid from our Christmas glitter menu, which is currently available at our Selfridges concession until NYE.

WHAT YOU’LL NEED:

Hair brush

Pin tail comb

Elastics

Grips

Pins

Palmer’s strong roots oil spray

Palmer’s whipped curl cream

Hair gel

Glitter

STEP 1: Brush through the hair. Spray roots Palmer’s strong roots spray and comb through – this makes it easier to part and as well as adding grip during braiding.

STEP 2: Then, using a pin tail comb, part the hair from in front of the left ear, diagonally across the head to the back of the right ear. Clip away or tie up the bottom section of hair.

STEP 3: Begin Dutch braiding across the top of the head, curving toward the right ear, using curl cream if necessary for sleekness!

STEP 4: When the braid reaches the parting line on the opposite side, un tie/clip the bottom half of the hair, and little by little incorporate the bottom section of hair into the braid.

STEP 5: Keep braiding until you reach just below the left ear and then secure the end of the braid with an elastic.

STEP 6: Create the ‘up do’ by pinning the end of the braid back on itself and securing with grips and pins.

STEP 7: Tidy the braid by spraying with holding spray and using a pin tail comb to neaten the edges.

STEP 8: Add paw paw or hair gel to the side of the braid.

STEP 9: Cover with glitter!!
